Integrating an educational institution into a society implies listening to the needs of society and providing education services when something is not backed up specifically.
One of the ways of integration can be the organization of free education, humanitarian actions and other education services that come to the benefit of society.
The aim is to analyze the needs of the society and the environment and to form different events that meet their needs. BY that manner, a series of activities aimed at the public with the purpose of regional integration is organized.
The reason for these activities is the integration of the institution into society. This is recommended as a characteristic of a good neighbor and a useful member of society.
The best example for this events are free workshops and educations or humanitarian activities that meets their needs. Aspira annually organizes several such events as education in the field of tourism, the educations for private renters, education for improvement of sales promotion, internet marketing etc.
It takes a lots of effort to organize this kind of events because we're talking about events that are not a core business of the institution. It requires the engagement of a number of employees, students, members of Lifelong learning Centre, experts who are covering certain topics of the event, the venues where the event will take place and other technical prerequisites.
Limiting factors may be the will and the time of all participants and the inability to recognize the right projects from the institutional side.
It is possible in this example to assess whether the institution is sufficiently socially active and thus to make self assemesment and improvements.
