Study Visit of Lecturers in WoW (companies)

Lecturers, employed at our college, visit students who are doing their practical training in the company. By means of interviews with the mentor from WoW and students performing their practical training. We are able to identify recent trends and current needs of WoW. Also we can evaluate the company (WoW) and quality of practical training placement of our students.

Collecting Feedback from Stakeholders

Tailor-made Courses for our Partners from WoW

We are recognised as an excellent educational institution in the region and support WoW with possibilities to develop (upskill, reskill) their human resources in their own region/town.

Inter-courses Cooperation

Two lectures joining together in one class/lab. In order to realise these, it is necessary to provide intensive cooperation and communication between those lectures. Both lectures have to decide the topic of inter-course and prepare together assignments, presentation and lecture. This way we stimulate cross-linked and networked learning and teaching.

Professional Excursion to WoW (Berlin)

With this excursion we try to realise network learning and applicate the theoretical gained knowledge in the realistic situation at the Berlin destination. At the same time we try to stimulate the development of skills such as practical and joined-up thinning in order to prepare our students for WoW. The Berlin Excursion organised by elected students under the mentorship of three lecturers is presenting the innovative educational concept of collaborative and competence based learning. This way students are able to gain in practice competences, knowledge and skills in field hospitality and tourism industry. As well they will get to know other culture and heritage and develop positive relations to different culture and countries people.

We have developed a comprehensive diagram regrouping all situations that might occur in students' individual situations when completing the obligatory professional practice.
