University takes part in organization of various cultural events. Students cooperate with professionals during film festivals and other events, they can get some ECTS credits. We also organize yearly national conferences of students' media.

Cultural events have their own budgets, so usually no extra funding is required

Why do you consider this case to be good/best practice?

Please consider that a best practice must (a) have a clearly defined objective to increase the connection with the World of Work, (b) address the target groups of the project, (c) be replicable and sustainable, (d) have clearly demonstrated evidence of effectiveness in increasing the connection with the World of Work

For our institution it is one of the most important cases of collaboration with external environment, bringing many benefits to all involved parties. Students have a chance to be part of real life projects that will make up their future working life. As they can also get some ECTS credits, their participation contributes to their course of studies. It is also a good publicity for our institution - an occasion to display capacities and talents of our students to the external world. Students acquire many new skills (organizational skills, communication skills, responsibility, decision making etc.) very important for their future professional life.
