Association under the name: University of the Third Age at the State Higher Vocational School and shortened name: University of the Third Age at the State Higher Vocational School, hereinafter referred to as the Association, operates under the provisions of the Act of April 7, 1989 Law on Associations (Journal of Laws of 2001 ., No. 79, item 855, as amended) and this statute.
The UTA organizes a number of activities for retired citizens from the region, in the form of lectures, classes and workshops where they can develop their skills and share their knowledge. Some of the activities are carried out with regular students e.g. the School choir while others are managed by student trainees supervised by teachers e.g. foreign language courses.
The aims of the Association are scientific, propagating, educational, training and promotional activities in the field of:
1) science, education, and education, including foreign language learning, economic knowledge, computer science, and law
2) culture, art, protection of cultural goods and traditions,
3) activities for European integration and developing contacts and cooperation between communities, including other Third Age Universities in the country and in the world,
4) protection and promotion of health, including promotion of active rest, sports, healthy lifestyle and health knowledge,
5) sightseeing, tourism and organization of active rest of members,
6) activities for the activation of disabled people,
7) dissemination and protection of human rights and freedoms and civil liberties, including actions supporting the development of democracy,
8) promotion and organization of volunteering.
9) Measures for the dissemination and organization of intergenerational cooperation.

What resources are required for the case?

Consider human resources, financial resources, infrastructure, in-kind resources and any other type required.

Human resources and financial resources are required. It is necessary that the institution takes a holistic approach and systemically encourages the employees and students to participate in the activities of UTA, which improves the skills and competences of all interested parties. Also the institution needs to have an approach empowering participants of the UTA to take initiative and suggest possible improvements to keep up the highest standards.

The holistic approach of theinstitution in order to assure that all activities are professionally monitored by the relevant teaching staff.
