Please describe the case in detail

In particular please consider (a)Objectives of the intervention; (b) Tools used to achieve the project goals; (c) Methodologies applied;

Interdisciplinary teaching method using to teach a unit or lecture across different courses. Example: Last study year we have started with the Inter-course cooperation. Two lectures joining together in one class/lab; German lecturer is joining the cooking class/bar management course and explaining the operational methods in German language.

What resources are required for the case?

Consider human resources, financial resources, infrastructure, in-kind resources and any other type required.

- Lecture (time) preparation for Inter-courses cooperation (extra assignments for the students)
- Intensive cooperation and communication between lectures.

What are the enabling factors making this case successful?

Consider institutional support, environmental/social/political factors, etc.

With this method of interdisciplinary teaching students widen their knowledge of German language with new professional terms and apply their theoretical knowledge in practise.

Why do you consider this case to be good/best practice?

Please consider that a best practice must (a) have a clearly defined objective to increase the connection with the World of Work, (b) address the target groups of the project, (c) be replicable and sustainable, (d) have clearly demonstrated evidence of effectiveness in increasing the connection with the World of Work

With this method the lecture hours are more interesting and students are more motivated to learn foreign language by doing what their occupation and profession is and combining it to new professional terminology from their own professional field which makes foreign language learning really connected to their future profession. Also the lectures have to cooperate more intense in order to prepare a joint lesson.
