Each student of VŠTE - Institute of Technology and Business in České Budějovice - has to complete one semester of professional practice related to their field of study. We have developed a comprehensive diagram regrouping all situations that might occur in students' individual situations.

Why do you consider this case to be good/best practice?

Please consider that a best practice must (a) have a clearly defined objective to increase the connection with the World of Work, (b) address the target groups of the project, (c) be replicable and sustainable, (d) have clearly demonstrated evidence of effectiveness in increasing the connection with the World of Work

We derive it from the feedback from the application sphere - firms and institutions. Practical training deepens and challenges the knowledge and skills of our students and prepares them for their individual involvement in the the "real" professional world. It also means higher employability on the labor market.
