Ministries and agencies, who also offer topics for graduation theses and applied researches, are also involved in the establishing of the main directions of R&D activities. For example the Rescue Board has need to survey some topic (prevention work, crisis management etc.) and they submit an order to EASS. Our researchers, lecturers conduct the survey and sometimes also students are involved. Case includes also innovative learning technologies and virtual training exercises which are used also in agencies through the cources and trainings. The main directions of R&D are confirmed for four years but of cource, sometimes there are some acute topics additionally.

Why do you consider this case to be good/best practice?

Please consider that a best practice must (a) have a clearly defined objective to increase the connection with the World of Work, (b) address the target groups of the project, (c) be replicable and sustainable, (d) have clearly demonstrated evidence of effectiveness in increasing the connection with the World of Work

The case has deep connection with WoW, because RDI is not something researcher, lecturer and student wants or is able to do and research, but is something agencies really need.
