Organization and coordination of research activities, expert services, training provisions, counselling for companies, support in preparation and realization of international R&D projects etc.
Technology Transfer Center is a university-wide organizational unit of the State Higher Vocational School in Elbląg conducting interdisciplinary activities: research, service, training, promotional and organizational in the field of technology transfer. The following services are offered:
Organization and implementation of research and technical services,
Provision of scientific research and promotional training services,
Provision of didactic services of an interdisciplinary nature,
Promotion and dissemination of science and technology achievements in the field of new technologies, constructions, software, etc., in particular the PWSZ in Elbląg
What resources are required for the case?Consider human resources, financial resources, infrastructure, in-kind resources and any other type required.
Human resources are required as well as financial resources to ensure high quality of services.
The institution must also ensure appropriate premises with equipment that makes it possible co carry out complex research activities. To provide training services the institution must ensure competent and well informed tutors. Provision of didactic services of an interdisciplinary nature requires the staff to engage in interdisciplinary research activities to be able to give first hand experience to the learners.

Why do you consider this case to be good/best practice?Please consider that a best practice must (a) have a clearly defined objective to increase the connection with the World of Work, (b) address the target groups of the project, (c) be replicable and sustainable, (d) have clearly demonstrated evidence of effectiveness in increasing the connection with the World of Work
It makes the connection with the WoW stronger. The students are able to see first hand what the information they are taught is used for in practice. It also makes the connection with local communities stronger as the projects address problems found within the communities.
