The learning content is productively integrating theory and practice as the basis for complex problem-solving in real work situations. The content is informed by the latest research, trends and references from both the WoW and academia.

Explanation of the Criterion

The content for teaching and learning develops graduates well prepared for the professional field by achieving a range of transferable competences and by responding to the changings needs for skills of the professions. The learning content is facilitating the realisation of the programme vision, aims and objectives in its link to the professions and is recognised as such by stakeholders. The learning content integrates theory and practice, the latest research, trends and references the WoW and academia. The learning experience is challenging academically and professionally, enabling students to achieve their learning outcomes.

Measurable indicators of quality which could be integrated within the institution

Satisfaction of representatives of the WoW with content of teaching and learning; how does it match specific professional requirements
Graduates’ satisfaction with content of teaching and learning; how has it matched professional and life skills needed in their professional career and social environment
Staff satisfaction with content of teaching and learning; its formulation, coordination, relevance, implementation, student’s capacity to absorb, etc.
Students’ satisfaction with content of teaching and learning (e.g. its relevance, load, attractiveness, anticipated usefulness, capacity to follow and progress, ability to profile, possibility to provide feedback and review the content, etc.)

It includes direct contributions or descriptions of practice in the WoW (e.g. case studies, industry-authored textbooks/materials, etc.) based on/combined with relevant theoretical background
The learning content directly addresses learning outcomes,
It facilitates the realisation of the programme vision, aims and objectives in its links to the professions
It is recognised as such by stakeholders.
The learning experience is challenging academically and professionally, enabling students to achieve their learning outcomes.
